Load Safety

Vehicle Knowledge ended on one law: Section 55, Condition of vehicles — keep the machine in safe condition, continuously. This module is that section's other half. Section 58 is titled "Penalty for improper condition or overloading", and overloading is where it gets its second limb. So the same statute that made your brakes and tyres your responsibility makes the weight you put on them your responsibility too. It starts with arithmetic. Three numbers describe any vehicle, one equation links them, and a single subtraction turns them into the only figure you actually need: how much you may legally carry. Do it once for your own vehicle and the rest of this module becomes about respecting the answer.
